About 900 people gathered to remember two college students who died in a boating accident on an Adirondack lake.
The students from Paul Smith’s College, which is on the shore of Lower St. Regis Lake, were among six thrown into the lake when two canoes and a power boat capsized Friday. Four students made it to shore, about 100 feet away. Police were investigating.
“Our entire community is deeply saddened,” said college President John Mills.
