JetBlue in deal with Expedia

JetBlue Airways Corp. will begin listing its flights on Expedia Inc., the world’s biggest online travel agency, after posting losses for all of 2006 and this year’s first quarter.
JetBlue agreed to list its flights on Expedia and Expedia unit Hotwire for five years, the companies said Thursday.
The airline, which flies only in the U.S. and the Caribbean, trails Southwest Airlines Co. among U.S. low-cost carriers.
Jet Blue is trying to boost sales after two straight years of losses and winter operating problems that caused the airline to cancel almost 1,700 flights, stranding more than 130,000 passengers.
The company this month replaced Chief Executive David Neeleman with President David Barger.
New York-based JetBlue agreed last August to make its fares available on a temporary basis on Sabre Holdings Corp.’s Travelocity.com, the second-largest U.S. online-travel website by sales.
