Graffiti defaces Lincoln site

From Times Wire Reports
Swastikas and a racial epithet were spray-painted on a historic train depot where Abraham Lincoln once spoke. The graffiti was discovered days before the dedication of a Lincoln statue.
Police in Peekskill, 40 miles north of New York City, did not immediately declare the graffiti a hate crime.
The Lincoln Depot is under renovation, funded with state grants that also are being used to build a visitor center at the site along the Hudson River. In 1861, Lincoln delivered an address at the station on his trip from Illinois to his inauguration.
