No. 21 Boston College 24, at No. 15 Georgia Tech 10: Matt Ryan threw for a career-best 435 yards, and the Eagles (3-0, 3-0) shut down running back Tashard Choice (2-1, 0-1) in a victory over the Yellow Jackets at Atlanta. Ryan completed 30 of 44 passes. Choice was held to 31 yards in 15 carries, ending his streak of nine straight 100-yard games.
at No. 18 Virginia Tech 28, Ohio 7: Freshman quarterback Tyrod Taylor completed 18 of 31 passes for 287 yards and ran the offense smoothly to lead the Hokies (2-1) over the Bobcats (2-1) at Blacksburg.
at No. 20 Clemson 38, Furman 10: Cullen Harper completed 16 of 19 passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns in only his third start to lead the Tigers (3-0) over the Paladins (1-2) at Clemson, S.C.
Miami 23, at Florida International 9: Kyle Wright threw an 80-yard pass to Lance Leggett for Miami’s longest offensive score in nearly two years, and the Hurricanes (2-1) handed the Golden Panthers (0-3) their 15th straight loss.
Virginia 22, at North Carolina 20: Cedric Peerman rushed for 186 yards and a touchdown, and Chris Gould tied a school record with five field goals to lead the Cavaliers (2-1, 2-0) over the Tar Heels (1-2, 0-1) at Chapel Hill.
at Wake Forest 21, Army 10: Aaron Curry returned an interception 84 yards for a touchdown, and the Demon Deacons (1-2) held the Black Knights (1-2) to 56 total yards in the second half at Winston-Salem, N.C.
at North Carolina State 38, Wofford 17: Andre Brown rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Wolfpack (1-2) over the Terriers (2-1) at Raleigh.
