Update -- This will be the third game of a four-game homestand for the Kings, who earned their first victory of the season on Tuesday night with a 6-3 rout of the Ducks. The Kings are tied for the league lead in penalty killing, having killed all 14 of their disadvantages in three games, and they’re in the top half on the power play at four for 18 (22.2%). Hurricanes winger Zach Boychuk, chosen 14th in the entry draft, might make his debut tonight after recovering from wrist surgery.
