AFI Fest: “Defiance,” a film in which Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber and Jamie Bell play brothers struggling to stay alive during World War II, will have its world premiere on Nov. 9 at the closing night festivities of the AFI Los Angeles International Film Festival at the ArcLight in Hollywood.
Renewed: CBS has ordered 13 more episodes of its summer police drama “Flashpoint,” to be aired in 2009.
Casting: Mimi Kennedy will star in “The Lady With All the Answers,” a play about advice columnist Ann Landers that opens at the Pasadena Playhouse on Oct. 17.
