Re “Keating Five ring a bell?” Opinion, Sept. 25
Rosa Brooks rings the bell as always. The top two campaign donation recipients from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac employees are Democrats Christopher Dodd, chairman of the Senate Banking Committee at $165,400, and Barack Obama at $126, 349. McCain received only $21, 550. In 2005, McCain tried to help push through the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act, which was beaten down by the Democrats.
