Three cheers for Travel and Spano

I am a reader of the L.A. Times and its Travel section. Actually, the Travel section is the reason I subscribe. Anyway, just wanted to tell you how very much I enjoy Susan Spano’s writings and how I envy her life. If I had my life to redo, I’d be a travel writer.

Spano’s articles are always great, and I keep them in my travel files.

I really enjoyed the articles I just read on Israel [“In All Its Glory,” Dec. 21]. Being Catholic and coming upon Christmas, they gave me chills and tears.
