Lakers play host to the Charlotte Bobcats

Update: The Bobcats have played much better since acquiring Raja Bell and Boris Diaw from Phoenix in a five-player trade last month. In the last three weeks, they defeated Boston, Phoenix, Detroit and Portland, and lost to San Antonio by two points. The Bobcats have won four of their last five against the Lakers, including a 108-95 victory at Staples Center last March.
