Chain restaurant operator Yum Brands Inc. said its fiscal third-quarter profit rose 18%.
The company that owns Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut earned $334 million, or 69 cents a share, with help from a strong performance in China. That compares with net income of $282 million, or 58 cents, in the same quarter last year. Revenue fell 2% to $2.78 billion.
