Los Angeles police and county sheriff’s rescue crews on Saturday plan to search the area where a 24-year-old woman was last seen Sept. 17 after being released from jail.
Mitrice Richardson of Los Angeles has been missing since she was released from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Malibu/Lost Hills substation in Calabasas. She had been arrested for allegedly failing to pay an $89.21 bill at Geoffrey’s Malibu restaurant and possessing less than an ounce of marijuana.
Police will search the mostly rural area on foot with the aid of canine and horse-mounted units. Another search Sept. 19 led police to a backyard patio in Malibu, where Richardson was reportedly last seen.
