Update: Center Jarret Stoll is expected to return after missing seven games because of a sore groin. He will play on the fourth line and get special-teams time. This will be the first of three games in 16 days between these teams. The Sharks have won eight games in a row and are led by center Joe Thornton, the NHL leader in assists (46) and points (57). He and linemates Patrick Marleau and Dany Heatley were chosen for the Canadian Olympic team for the Vancouver Games.
