Former NFLer Billy Miller posts Westlake Village home for sale

Former Westlake High School and USC standout Billy Miller, who played nine seasons in the NFL, has put his home in Westlake Village on the market at $1.899 million.

Set among mature oaks in the North Ranch area, the home features a ranch-style main residence, a detached guest house, a pool and a large entertainer’s patio on a hillside lot of about 1.5 acres.

Dark hardwoods and beamed ceilings are a common theme throughout the open-space floor plan, which has four bedrooms and four full bathrooms in 4,100 square feet. Among features is a center-island kitchen, a living room with a wet bar and a great room with fireplace. The master suite sports a steam shower and his and hers vanities.

French doors open to a covered patio with a barbecue and a pool and spa with a water slide. At the opposite side of the home, a large wraparound deck with a fountain overlooks the tree-filled grounds.

Miller, who runs The Elite Performance Factory in Westlake Village with former NFL tackle Marvel Smith, purchased the home in 2013 for $1.2 million, records show. Jordan Cohen, estates director for RE/MAX Olson & Associates, is the listing agent.

Drafted out of USC in 1999 by Denver, Miller played nine seasons in the NFL for the Broncos, Texans, Browns and Saints. The pass-catching tight end holds the distinction of scoring the first touchdown in Houston Texans franchise history.
