Clipper DeAndre Jordan lists Pacific Palisades home he bought in September

If pro basketball player DeAndre Jordan had ended up going to the Dallas Mavericks, then seeing his Pacific Palisades trophy home show up on the market at $12.895 million would make sense. But the Los Angeles Clippers center just bought the newly built house in September for $12.7 million in cash. Is this another case of signer’s remorse?

Located within walking distance of a home owned by teammate Blake Griffin, Jordan’s slightly used Cape Cod-inspired three-story mansion has 10,500 square feet of living space. Fun features include a basketball half-court, a putting green and a secret room with a hidden passage and a thumbprint entry system.

The ocean-view estate is accessed through gates and a garden with a waterfall. Inside the home’s double doors is a dramatic chandelier-topped foyer with a sweeping staircase.

Formal spaces include a living room with a fireplace and a formal dining room with diamond-shaped coffered ceilings. The wine cellar has a glass wall facing the foyer. The home theater features a 130-inch screen and stadium seating. There’s also an indoor exercise pool, a gym and an elevator, not to mention a total of seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.

Disappearing sliding glass pocket doors along the back of the house open to a tiered patio with a fire pit and an outdoor kitchen. A waterfall with colored LED lighting and a swimming pool with a raised spa complete the half-acre grounds.

Jordan, 27, returned to the Clippers in the off-season after originally agreeing to sign as a free agent with the Mavericks. The eight-year center, known for his shot blocking, will earn $87.6 million during the next four years.
