Action star Jason Statham has bought a Midcentury Modern man cave in the Hollywood Hills West for $2.7 million.
The English actor earlier this spring purchased a Beverly Hills house for $12.995 million.
The dated interiors of his latest acquisition, a single-story built in 1957, have a retro vibe. Dining and living rooms, a breakfast nook, four bedrooms and four bathrooms are within the 2,917 square feet of interior space. The master suite has a fireplace and includes a den.
Walls of glass look out onto patios, a saltwater swimming pool with a spa and gardens on the quarter-acre property. A perimeter wall adds privacy.
Statham, 47, has been in the “Fast & Furious,” “Expendables” and “Transporter” film series. The box-office draw stars this year in “Wild Card,” “Spy” and “Furious Seven.” He’ll star next year in “Mechanic: Resurrection.”
The property previously sold in 2003 for $1.06 million. Trulia spotted the purchase, which public records confirm.
Sigal Diamant of Nelson Shelton & Associates was the listing agent. Ben Bacal of Rodeo Realty represented Statham.
The actor owns other properties including a house in gated Malibu Colony that he bought in 2009 for $10.95 million.
