Juergen Klinsmann, the head coach of the U.S. men’s national soccer team, is ready to give his home in Newport Beach the boot, listing it for sale at $2.399 million.

The 51-year-old manager and former player bought the house on a corner lot in the Newport Heights neighborhood in 2011 for $1.476 million, public records show.

Marked by a white picket fence, the single-story home of 3,000 square feet has a contemporary yet coastal vibe with crisp white-walled interiors, light hardwood floors and detailed siding throughout.

A Dutch front entry opens to a family room with built-in bookshelves, large picture windows and a two-sided gas fireplaces shared by the living room. A formal dining area sits off the family room.

A remodeled chef’s kitchen and breakfast area sports stone countertops. Clad in seafoam green, the master suite has a clawfoot soaking tub and a walk-in closet for a total of four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.
