SAG Awards 2013: Rainn Wilson would launch Dwight into space

As rows of screaming fans stood behind him on the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet Sunday, Rainn Wilson kept his cool.
“I’m not worried,” he said. “They keep them tranquilized.”
Wilson did not appear worried either as “The Office,” now in its ninth season, quickly approaches its final episodes.
“I could not be more excited for these next 10 episodes. We have always succeeded at combining emotional truths and crazy antics -- and that’s exactly what we’ll do.”

It’s this love for crazy antics that has Wilson hoping his character Dwight Schrute’s exit from the show involves “a launch into space.”
Wilson explained his faith in NBC’s continuing success as the network says goodbye both to “The Office” as well as “30 Rock,” saying, “I have a lot of loyalty to NBC. I’m grateful to NBC for giving me a job and a house.”
And how did Wilson intend to show his gratitude?
“I’m going to steal as much as I can from the set before I leave.”
