Hollywood Headlines: a crazy week in review

Everyone can rest easy that we don't have another dead celebrity on our hands this week. Gary Coleman is safe and sound after being rushed to hospital for an apparent seizure. He was in town to meet with producers about removing a scene from their new film "Midgets vs. Mascots" that features him in full Monty mode -- so hopefully he' ll be successful. The battle over the nude scene is heating up, especially now that Scottie Pippin has entered the fray.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand tying the knot

Katy Perry and Russell Brand gettin’ hitched?! We is all aghast and such! A surprise NYE proposal by the British comic brought a lump to her throat and an even bigger lump to his entourage. Mariah Carey gives a 'relaxed' acceptance speech

Artie Lange attempts suicide

Comedian and Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange attempted suicide this week, stabbling himself several times. Thankfully he was found in time and rushed to the hospital, where doctors were able to stop the bleeding.  (Ethan Miller / Getty Images)

Robert Godley puts a ring on it

30 Rock’s Jane Krawkowski’s a single lady no more -- as she got engaged to Psychic Bunny designer Robert Godley. Many remember Jane from “National Lampoon‘s Vacation” where, as Cousin Vicki, she told us how her daddy was great at french kissing. Casey Johnson dead at 30

People's Choice Awards brought in the beautiful people

So, they held one of these new-fangled award shows here in LA last week, and the craziest thing happened. All these beautiful celebrities showed up wearing elegant, expensive clothes!
