QI It’s not really a quiz show and isn’t quite a talk show. It’s just a bunch of really smart and funny Brits having a good, entertaining time. Stephen Fry hosts the first three new episodes. 8, 8:40 and 9:20 p.m. BBC America
The Odd Couple The classic Neil Simon story of slob Oscar and neatnik Felix — college roommates boarding together again after their respective marriages end — gets a new series workout with the premiere of this update. Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon star. With Leslie Bibb and Yvette Nicole Brown. 8:30 p.m. CBS
Two and a Half Men Details of the comedy’s hourlong series finale have been kept under wraps. Jon Cryer, Ashton Kutcher and Conchata Ferrell star. 9 p.m. CBS
Backstrom A teenager kidnapped by an online predator closely resembles the victim in a case that went unsolved when Backstrom (Rainn Wilson) handled it years earlier in this new episode. 9 p.m. Fox
Elementary Murder victims have envelopes filled with cash left with them, and Holmes and Watson (Jonny Lee Miller, Lucy Liu) eventually connect the killings to wrongful-death payments. Alicia Witt (“Justified”) and Michael Cumpsty (“Boardwalk Empire”) guest star in this new episode. 10 p.m. CBS
Vikings The action-packed historical drama returns for its third season with Ragnar and Lagertha’s (Travis Fimmel, Katheryn Winnick) fleets departing Kattegat once more. Linus Roache also stars. 10 p.m. History
