SoCal Dunkin’ Donuts fans, your prayers have finally been answered. The doughnut chain is opening a Dunkin’ Donuts location in Santa Monica on Sept. 2. The doors will be open at 5 a.m.
The first 100 people in line, and we’re anticipating there will be a line, will receive a Dunkin’ Donuts tote bag full of swag. And the very first person in line will be rewarded with free coffee for a year.
“We’ve been asked to bring Dunkin’ Donuts back to Los Angeles for many years and we’re proud to announce that the first full expression restaurant is opening in Santa Monica ahead of schedule,” Dunkin’ Donuts President Paul Twohig said in a statement. “We’re certain Dunkin’ Donuts will quickly become an integral part of Angelenos’ daily routine.”
The Dunkin’ Donuts will serve the chain’s full menu of doughnuts and baked goods, sandwiches and coffee beverages.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will include a $5,000 check presentation to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Dunkin’ Donuts will be open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The Massachusetts-based company signed agreements earlier this year to develop more than 150 new locations all over California.
