Palisades 13, Crossroads 5
Olivia Colman swept her three singles sets at love and Krista Slocum lost two games in three sets for Palisades (2-0) against host Crossroads (1-1) at Lincoln Park. It was the 700th career victory for Palisades coach Bud Kling, who has coached the Dolphin boys’ team since 1980 and the girls since 1984. Kling has a 700-68 record and has led the program to 24 City Section titles.
