Louis Zamperini: In the Nov. 25 Sports section, an article about the relationship between former Olympians and USC athletes John Naber and Louis Zamperini said that Zamperini’s fighter plane was shot down by the Japanese during World War II. Zamperini was in a bomber as a bombardier and the plane went down because of mechanical difficulties.
6th Street Bridge: In the Nov. 19 LATExtra section, an article about the Los Angeles City Council’s decision to replace the downtown 6th Street Bridge with a modern one credited an image of the approved design concept to Donald McDonald & Associates. The image should have been credited to MacDonald Architects.
Catholic Mass: In the Nov. 26 Section A, a caption with an article about changes to the Catholic Mass said that a photo showed altar boys in a procession at St. Euphrasia Church. Two of them were girls.
