Man’s body found floating in MacArthur Park Lake

A man’s body was found floating in MacArthur Park Lake early Saturday morning, police said.
The body was found around 2 a.m. in the lake at 653 S. Alvarado St., according to Los Angeles Police Officer Mike Lopez.
It is being treated as a death investigation, with “no foul play associated,” Lopez said. Unless police hear otherwise from the coroner, that is how the case will be treated, he said.
The man was not immediately identified. No other details were available.
