A fire broke out Sunday night at a two-story soundstage on the Paramount Studios lot in Hollywood, authorities said.
Just after 8:28 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department was alerted to the blaze at the studio, in the 5500 block of Melrose Avenue, said department spokeswoman Katherine Main.
About 44 firefighters have been deployed. Smoke is emanating from the soundstage roof but firefighters have not yet identified the source of the blaze, Main said.
No injuries have been reported. It’s unclear if the soundstage was being used when the fire broke out.
