A fast-moving fire Friday evening threatened to destroy a large commercial building in Baldwin Hills, authorities reported.
The blaze at 6050 W. Jefferson Blvd. was reported about 7:30 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
About 12 minutes after Los Angeles firefighters were notified, authorities said the 200-foot by 300-foot structure was starting to fail.
The building houses several small businesses and is located below the Baldwin Hills Overlook.
