Thousands of marijuana plants were seized Thursday after detectives discovered a large growing operation inside a warehouse in Paramount, authorities said Thursday.
Three men, whose identities haven’t been released, were arrested in connection with the activity at the warehouse in the 7200 block of Madison Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The warehouse included an extensive lighting and watering system and marijuana plants that varied in size, authorities said. The building was red-tagged due to suspected electrical violations.
Last week, Los Angeles police detectives reported they’d seized thousands of marijuana plants from a warehouse in Van Nuys.
The 14,000-square foot Van Nuys warehouse had been converted into a marijuana operation, where hash was being manufactured, police said.
Detectives discovered as many as 20 rooms housing marijuana plants.
