Man shot in El Sereno, police investigating

Police were investigating a shooting Monday in El Sereno that sent a man to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police responded about 7:10 a.m. to Monterey Road and Huntington Drive, where a man described as a Latino in his 30s was sitting in a white pickup truck when he was shot multiple times, said an official with the Los Angeles Police Department.
Authorities have shut down the area while detectives investigate.
The man was taken to a hospital, but his condition was not immediately known.
No arrests have been made.
