A man who barricaded himself inside a San Pedro home Tuesday night was taken into custody Wednesday morning, police said.
The man had refused to come out of the house in the 700 block of South Meyler Street since 8 p.m. Tuesday, when police responded to a report of a gunshot.
An LAPD SWAT team surrounded the home but the man refused to leave. A woman who was with him throughout the ordeal also refused to leave, an LAPD spokeswoman said.
He was arrested about 10:15 a.m. Wednesday. Details on what happened to the woman were not immediately available. The man’s identity has not been released.
Authorities said the man was upset about being kicked out of his house.
