*Acacia Street and 11th Street: Two males with brown hair and wearing
denim shorts were reported trying to open garage doors at 4:33 p.m.
Sunday.
*Alabama Street: A neighbor reported that a former tenant attempted to
break into an apartment in the 1300 block at 4:53 p.m. Monday.
*Beach Boulevard and Garfield Avenue: A male transient described
wearing a brown leather jacket was reported begging for money at 2:30
p.m. Friday.
*Beach Boulevard: A male wearing a plaid checkered shirt was
reportedly looking in windows of businesses in the 18700 block at 11:24
a.m. Friday.
*Beach Boulevard: A male described as having dark hair, wearing a gray
shirt and black pants was reported for trying to steal a candy bar in the
19300 block at 3:43 p.m. Sunday.
*Beach Boulevard: A woman reported boxes of cell phones were missing
from her office in the 19800 block at 9:16 a.m. Saturday.
*Brookhurst Street: A woman reported that someone has been stealing
underwear from her apartment for the past two months in the 21500 block
at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
*Brookhurst Street and Pacific Coast Highway: A male wearing a blue
bandanna and white overalls was reported for standing on the railing of a
drainage overpass at 5:58 p.m. Monday.
*Delaware Street and Garfield Avenue: Rocks were reportedly thrown
through the window of a brown Honda at 1:13 a.m. Sunday. *Edinger Avenue:
A woman reported she was confronted by a man asking for her to give all
her money at a drive-up ATM in the 7900 block at 1:09 p.m. Monday.
*Edinger Avenue: A male was reportedly spraying profanity on a gray
Toyota in the 7600 block at 12:14 a.m. Saturday.
*Ellis Avenue and Gothard Street: Two juveniles were reported for
lighting fireworks in the shrubs behind a house at 12:08 p.m. Saturday.
*Fountain Lane: A man found graffiti spray painted on his wall in the
16600 block at 10:57 a.m. Monday.
*Garfield Avenue: A business owner reported $5,000 in lost antiques
and furniture was missing from a store in the 7600 block at 12:13 p.m.
Saturday.
*Goldenwest Street: A female transient was reported for walking into
an apartment in the 16500 block at 6 p.m. Saturday.
*Goldenwest Street: A man called saying two males threatened to beat
him up in Murdy Park in the 16900 block at 6:08 p.m. Sunday.
*Hillsdale Lane: A prowler reportedly climbed the wall into a nursery
in the 21200 block at 11:12 p.m. Saturday.
*Holly Street: A resident reported a neighbor hit his garage door with
a hammer when he wasn’t home in the 19000 block at 12:29 p.m. Friday.
*Indianapolis Avenue: Cars were reported for tearing up the school
fields in the 9300 block at 1:14 a.m. Monday.
*Keelson Lane: A prowler was reported for trying to enter a house in
the 17300 block at 2:02 a.m. Sunday.
*Magnolia Street: A man said his car was struck by water balloons in
the 21400 block at 2:47 p.m. Sunday.
*Newland Street: A man reported someone stole car parts and boxes of
speakers and damaged the walls to his house in the 16700 block at 10:09
a.m. Saturday.
*Opal Circle: A man reported his red 1997 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck
was stolen in the 8100 block at 9:47 a.m. Sunday.
*Pacific Coast Highway: A white Chevrolet Lumina rental car was
reported stolen in the 700 block at 3:15 a.m. Sunday.
*Pammy Lane: Residents reported the back screen door and the window
were taken off their home in the 18300 block at 11:59 a.m. Friday.
*Pinecrest Circle: People were reported for trespassing into a
resident’s pool in the 4600 block at 12:40 a.m. Sunday.
*Pioneer Drive: Juveniles were reported for breaking into a classroom
in the 9100 block at 1:24 p.m. Sunday.
*Spickard Drive: A face plate was reported stolen from a red 1989
Toyota Corolla in the 6800 block at 9:30 p.m. Monday.
*Stark Avenue: A female transient was reported for allegedly living in
a laundry room in the 7800 block at 11:44 a.m. Friday.
*Thunderbird Circle: A man reported eggs were thrown at his house and
at his Ford F150 pickup truck in the 14300 block at 3:50 p.m. Monday.
*Valley Circle: A man reported that someone broke into his car, took
his organizer and used his credit card to charge $200 at Wal-Mart in the
18900 block at 9:03 a.m. Saturday.
*Yorktown Avenue: A man described as 6-feet tall with short black hair
and wearing dark clothing was seen swinging a golf club and following
children in the 9800 block at 4:18 p.m. Monday.
