Fashion Island Apple Store adds ‘briefing room’

An expanded Apple Store at Fashion Island in Newport Beach now offers local businesses a “briefing room,” a store spokesman said Tuesday.

The private room is intended for those who want to introduce their employees to new Apple products and features.

Appointments with a store consultant can be scheduled through the store’s website, said Apple spokesman Nick Leahy.

The Apple Store had previously occupied a 7,500-square-foot space in Fashion Island near Macy’s. It re-opened in a more than 10,000-square-foot space in the Nordstrom wing Saturday.
