Baseball: Cypress hits four home runs in 11-0 victory

Cypress Coach John Weber thinks his team is a Southern Section Division 1 title contender, and the Centurions sure played like on on Tuesday, hitting four home runs in an 11-0 win over Lakewood.
Brandon Alamo, Dominic Fletcher, Garret Brockel and Ryan McCanless delivered the home runs for Cypress (3-0), which had 17 hits. Fletcher had four RBI. James Acuna struck out seven and allowed one hit in six innings.
Dana Hills 5, Vista Murrieta 3: The Dolphins (6-0) faced their first deficit of the season and rallied for the victory. Marrick Crouse threw the complete game, striking out nine. Conner Cannon had a two-run double for Vista Murrieta.
Long Beach Millikan 2, Sonora 0: Spencer Steer and Jacob Hughey combined on a no-hitter. Millikan advances to the semifinals of the Loara tournament to play San Clemente on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Glover Field.
California 7, South Torrance 2: Alex Gonzalez had three hits and Daniel Alvarez allowed one hit in five innings.
St. Francis 9, Salesian 4: Jason Ajamian had two hits and two RBI.
San Clemente 2, Servite 0: Will Tribucher struck out eight in five innings for the Tritons, who advance to the semifinals of the Loara tournament. Lucas Herbert had two hits.
Foothill 5, Redlands East Valley 2: Cameron Leiderman had two doubles and a triple.
Chatsworth 7, Calabasas 1: Danny Hernandez threw a four-hitter and Sam Shaikin had two hits for the Chancellors.
Agoura 6, Moorpark 5: Bryce Fehmel, Ryan Fineman, Ben Baird, Joey Czarske and Tanner Amaral each had two hits for the Chargers.
Great Oak 9, Canyon Crest 5: Trey Endris, Logan Morrison and Brandon Stewart each had two hits for Great Oak.
Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 20, Ventura 0: Joe Pace hit a three-run home run for the Knights, who face Chatsworth in a home doubleheader on Friday.
Crespi 7, Oak Park 5: Trevor McColley had two doubles and four RBI for the Celts.
Village Christian 4, Kennedy 3: Ryan Whisenant, Chris Davidson, Cameron Wetherby and Nick Daniels each had two hits for the Crusaders.
Westlake 3, Simi Valley 2: The Warriors picked up an eight-inning win. Timmy Burtzloff struck out eight in seven innings. Grant Bunker had two hits.
Santa Margarita 1, Long Beach Wilson 0: Johnny Carr scored the winning run in the 10th inning. Zach Pettway threw seven shutout innings for Wilson. Four Santa Margarita pitchers combined on a shutout.
Loyola 4, West Ranch 3: Ben Post threw five shutout innings with zero walks for the Cubs. Awari Muoneke hit a solo home run.
Thousand Oaks 12, Birmingham 1: Jack Rosenberg hit a three-run home run to lead the Lancers (4-1).
El Camino Real 2, Camarillo 1: Kyle Granillo had two hits for the Conquistadores.
Burroughs 3, Hart 2: Jesse Galindo threw 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief for Burroughs. Anthony Bocanegra had two hits.
Villa Park 8, La Mirada 0: Anthony Navarro threw a two-hitter for Villa Park (4-1).
Huntington Beach 16, St. Margaret’s 0: Logan Pouelsen had a home run, double and four RBI. Hagen Danner added a home run and three RBI.
Dos Pueblos 8, Chaminade 7: The Eagles committed six errors in defeat.
Lancaster 5, Newbury Park 1: Kenny Johnson and Gabe Curtier each had three hits for Lancaster.
Hamilton 22, Marshall Fundamental 0: Dalton Blumenfeld hit two home runs and a double.
New Jewish Community 32, Southwestern 0: Max Turteltaub and Adam Ash combined on a no-hitter.
Rio Mesa 7, Saugus 5: Ben Reyes had three hits for Rio Mesa.
Santa Barbara 8, Santa Maria 1: The Dons (4-0) allowed their first run of the season. Marcus Tmure threw four shutout innings. Carter Soto had two doubles and three RBI.
