The brackets are out for the Westchester tournament that begins on Dec. 2. And there’s a potential championship game looming between City Section title favorites El Camino Real and Westchester.
Opening games on Dec. 2: Taft vs. St. Joseph, 7:30 p.m.; San Pedro vs. El Camino Real, 6 p.m.; Windward vs. Peninsula, 4:30 p.m.; Narbonne vs. Bishop Montgomery, 3 p.m. For Dec. 3: Lawndale vs. Washington, 3 p.m.; Beverly Hills vs. Gardena Serra, 4:15 p.m.; Westchester vs. Augustus Hawkins, 6 p.m.; Hart vs. Morningside, 7:15 p.m.
For the early matchup of El Camino Real and Westchester to take place, Westchester will have to get past Hart and Serra in its bracket. And El Camino Real will probably have to get past Windward or Bishop Montgomery.
