Boys’ basketball: Elijah Stewart to seek release from letter of intent

Standout guard Elijah Stewart of Westchester has decided to seek a release from his letter of intent with Loyola Marymount, according to Scout.com.
Loyola Marymount has a new coach in Mike Dunlap, and Stewart’s senior season has made him one of the top players in Southern California. If he’s given his release from the letter he signed last November, many schools in the Pac-12 are expected to pursue him.
