Boys’ basketball: Gold Coast League tournament begins on Saturday

The Gold Coast League will begin its eight-team basketball tournament on Saturday.
The matchups:
No. 8 McAuliffe at No. 1 Sierra Canyon, 7 p.m.
No. 7 Paraclete at No. 2 Brentwood, 7:30 p.m.
No. 6 Crossroads at No. 3 Windward, 5 p.m.
No. 5 Viewpoint at No. 4 Campbell Hall, 4:30 p.m.
Winners advance to Tuesday’s semifinals, with the championship game on Thursday night at Viewpoint.
