Boys’ basketball: Stephan Gilling is new head coach at Chino Hills
- Share via
Stephan Gilling, who served as an assistant coach on last season’s 35-0 Chino Hills team and was the recommended successor by former coach Steve Baik, has been named the head coach for the Huskies.
Gilling isn’t expected to change much. The Huskies are already scoring lots of points in summer ball, similar to what they did last season, when they tied the state record by scoring 100 or more points 18 times in games.
Baik, the new head coach at Fairfax, will be able to welcome Gilling personally next week, when Chino Hills opens play in the Fairfax tournament on Tuesday. Chino Hills returns four starters.
