Football: City Section needs to find new championship venue

East Los Angeles College is unavailable to host the City Section Division I and II championship football games this fall, so Commissioner John Aguirre said Tuesday that he has begun searching for other sites.
The City Section would like to find a facility to play three championship games on a Saturday in December.
The StubHub Center in Carson is one facility Aguirre intends to contact. The costs for renting and using the facility are the big obstacle.
El Camino College in Torrance and L.A. Valley College in Van Nuys are other possibilities.
