Former Alemany Coach Dean Herrington said Thursday he has accepted the position as head football coach at Paraclete.
Herrington won seven league titles in 10 years at Alemany. Then the school decided to go in a different direction.
Now Herrington will try to bring his brand of passing the football to Paraclete. He has been well known for developing top quarterbacks through his years coaching at Alemany and Hart.
“We’re going to run our spread and Oregon stuff,” he said. “They have a great tradition. It’s a real neat school.”
