Football: Quarterbacks Kaaya, Diamont won’t let up

Former Chaminade quarterback Brad Kaaya is a freshman at Miami. Former Venice quarterback Alexander Diamont is a freshman at Indiana.
Each offered a Tweet at around 5 a.m. on Thursday about “rise and grind” and “ready to get some work in.”
And you want to know why they were so successful in high school, earned college scholarships and one day will be starting at their respective schools.
It’s called dedication. They don’t rely on someone to wake them up.
A good lesson for high school players with big dreams.
At this time last year, they were preparing to face each other in a high school football opener. Now they’re preparing for college with the pedal to the metal.
