Football: Windward’s Roy Hemsley picks up USC offer

Roy Hemsely of L.A. Windward has thought of himself as a basketball player for so long, but on Saturday, he picked up an offer from USC for football. Hemsley, a junior, has played football for only two years but has emerged as a promising offensive lineman.
USC made lots of offers on Saturday at its junior day. Pasadena Muir junior defensive back Taeon Mason committed to the Trojans, according to Scout.com.
