Southern California is home to one of the best teenage divers in the nation in Olivia Rosendahl, a 17-year-old senior at Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles.
She won the Southern Section Division III springboard championship last spring, recording four perfect scores of 10 in the competition.
On Monday night at the Junior National Championships in Knoxville, she teamed with Rachel Rubadue from Columbus, Ohio, to win the Synchronized Platform event. Mission Viejo’s Camryn Hildago and Madison Witt took second.
Rosendahl will be trying to win individual events later in the week.
