Jeff Cirillo spent 14 years in the major leagues. He got a scholarship out of tiny Burbank Providence High, then went to USC.
On April 5 at Lakeside Country Club, Providence will honor Cirillo with its “Pioneer Award,” becoming only the second alum to receive the honor. It is given to individuals who have “enriched the Providence community through their dedication, loyalty, talents and gifts.”
Cirillo has been a strong supporter of Providence.
