Update: UCLA has a 27-game winning streak as the home team at the Sports Arena, where the Bruins will play their first game as the hosts since 1965. Loyola Marymount must go back to 1941 to find its last victory in a series in which it is 2-15. The Lions will be without standout forward Drew Viney, who has a foot injury, and forward Alex Osborne, who must sit out the season’s first two games as the result of playing in last season’s opener before redshirting. UCLA will be missing backups Jerime Anderson (suspension) and Anthony Stover (shoulder).
