Kobe Bryant still leading the All-Star vote

Kobe Bryant maintained his lead over LeBron James as the leading All-Star vote-getter according to the NBA’s third set of returns.

With the ballots closing Jan. 14, fans have less than two weeks to get their votes in.

Bryant received 1,177,456 votes, just 26,152 more than James’ 1,151,304.

Unless Jeremy Lin (605,624 votes) can catch Chris Paul (651,893), the Western Conference starters will be Kevin Durant (1,088,797), Dwight Howard (716,671), Blake Griffin (593,024), Paul and Bryant.

Four of the five positions are likely to be filled by local teams from the Lakers and Clippers.

The Eastern starters appear to be nearly set as well with Carmelo Anthony (1,054,099), Dwyane Wade (765,077), Rajon Rondo (675,822), Kevin Garnett (390,751) and James.

Chris Bosh (362,973) still has a chance to catch Garnett, but the other starters appear to be set in stone.

Other Lakers receiving votes includes Pau Gasol (239,440) and Metta World Peace (106,025).
