Three thoughts for the coming week:
1. No. 9 Tennessee gets a chance to rebound from the Texas A&M loss — or watch its “miracle” season fall completely apart — when top-ranked Alabama comes to Neyland Stadium on Saturday.
2. Coach Urban Meyer was less than ecstatic about Ohio State’s passing attack in a 38-17 victory over Indiana. This week, the No. 2 Buckeyes face a test at No. 11 Wisconsin.
3. A month ago, Stanford at Notre Dame looked like a top-10 battle. But in a season of constant poll shake-ups, the Cardinal has lost two in a row and Irish Coach Brian Kelly is feeling the heat with his team at 2-4.
