Bubba Bolden will leave USC to play football for Miami

Former USC sophomore safety Bubba Bolden will transfer to Miami, Bolden announced from his Twitter account Wednesday night.
Bolden, who left USC in October because of a 28-month university suspension for an alleged violation of the student code of conduct, had been reinstated to the university as of Dec. 31 and would have been allowed to enroll in spring classes.
But instead of coming back to USC and allowing the school’s office of Student Judicial Affairs and Community Standards to reopen its investigation into an off-campus incident involving Bolden during his freshman year, Bolden chose to continue his football career with the Hurricanes.
Bolden was named a starter for USC before the 2018 season but never played for the Trojans because of the discipline he received. If he had chosen to return to the Trojans, he likely would have been a starter next season.
