Tight ends
Coach: John Baxter
Key returners: Fifth-year senior Taylor McNamara and sophomore Tyler Petite
Other returners: Redshirt freshman Daniel Imatorbhebhe
Joining in the fall: Freshman Cary Angeline
Outlook: Taylor McNamara, a graduate transfer from Oklahoma, started in all 14 games as a Trojan last season. He caught 12 passes for 83 yards and four touchdowns.
McNamara shared time with Tyler Petite, who as a freshman played in every game and caught 15 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown.
This spring, Daniel Imatorbhebhe also will compete for playing time.
Imatorbhebhe enrolled at Florida last spring before he opted to transfer to USC in the fall and sat out the season because of NCAA rules.
This spring, Imatorbhebhe will be joined on the field by his brother, receiver Josh Imatorbhebhe, who enrolled in January as a member of the 2016 recruiting class.
John Baxter, who was not retained by former coach Steve Sarkisian after the 2013 season, returns to the staff after spending a season at Michigan.
Highly regarded 2016 recruit Cary Angeline will join the team in the fall.
