Music Festival

Concerts by Eddie Money and country artist Eric Church plus a daylong festival with arts and crafts vendors and a children’s stage with dance groups, singers and other performers.

When, where: Concerts May 18 and 19 at North Arkansas College Bill Baker Amphitheater, 1515 Pioneer Drive, Harrison; festival 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 19 at Lake Harrison, near Stephenson Avenue and Main Street in downtown Harrison.

San Francisco International

Film Festival

The fest marks its 50th year with about 200 films; tributes to Spike Lee, George Lucas, Peter Morgan and Robin Williams; and the world premiere of “Fog City Mavericks,” about filmmaking in the city by the bay.

When, where: April 26 to May 10. Primary locations are the Castro Theatre (429 Castro St.) and Sundance Cinemas Kabuki (1881 Post St.) in San Francisco; Pacific Film Archive (2575 Bancroft Way, Berkeley); and Aquarius Theatre (430 Emerson St., Palo Alto).

Arts Alive

The arts walk, the first Saturday of each month, showcases visual and performance art, with street musicians and performances. When, where: 6 to 9 p.m. the first Saturday of every month; the next one is May 5. Centered in Old Town, around F and 2nd streets in Eureka.

Laughlin River Run

The gambling town bills the River Run as the largest motorcycle event in the West. Highlights: a custom bike show, free concerts, plus headliners ZZ Top, the Fabulous Thunderbirds and Jonny Lang.

Spring Wings
