Los Angeles Times Staff Writer
Lions and tigers have nothing on the ghouls and goblins that inhabit the Louisville Zoo each October. A pumpkin patch, inflatables, a Yellow Brick Road, a giant talking pumpkin and a headless horseman are part of the transformation from animal habitat to Halloween haunt. About 85,000 people are expected to attend the festivities.
When, where: Thursday to next Sunday, Oct. 18 to 21 and 25 to 28 at the Louisville Zoo, 1100 Trevilian Way.
Cost: $6.50 per person 3 and older.
