Massive pumpkins -- including the grand-champ gourd, with which you can have your picture taken -- expert carvers, pie-eating and costume contests, pumpkin ale and festival-label wine, a parade, a haunted house and three stages of entertainment are among highlights of the fest, now in its 37th year.
When, where: Oct. 13 and 14 on Main Street between Miramontes and Spruce streets.
Cost: Admission is free.
