Pahrump’s hot air balloon festival to rise up in March

Reporting from Las Vegas — The skies will be filled with 20 hot air balloons during Pahrump’s annual Hot Air Balloon Festival at Petrack Park starting Friday, Mar. 20, through Sunday, Mar. 22.
The city’s three-day festival brings with it drone and fixed-wing aircraft exhibitions, a carnival with classic carnival games and rides and food and craft vendors.
Guests can take a ride in hot air balloons that are tethered to the ground for a different view of the city located 62 miles west of Las Vegas.
Head over on Saturday, Mar. 21, when the night the skies will be illuminated by a balloon glow-light show.
The festival runs from noon to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 20, 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 21, and 6:30 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Mar. 22.
Admission to the festival is free, although tickets are required for tethered balloon rides and the carnival, both available at the festival.
